However, committee members did attend status-review sessions organized by PMACWA and were given access to all available draft reports by the technology providers. To meet the publication date of August 2002, the committee had to submit its consensus draft in April 2002 for editing and preparation for peer review, which forced it to terminate its data-gathering phase by early February 2002.
